Mitze McCurry is the owner of Real Estate Resource Services, Inc. (RERS). She has been in the Real Estate and Construction industry for 30+ years. With an extensive background in the management of REO properties, sales and escrow, Mitze and her husband had a dream to one day own their own real estate company. RERS is that dream.
Thru the years, Mitze has dedicated herself to learning as much as she could within the industry she was currently working in. This has developed into a strong work ethic for herself and those around her.
Some of her past accomplishments include serving as the Regional Manager for one of HUD’s real estate asset managers. At that time Mitze managed an inventory of 7,500+ HUD owned properties in the Southern California area. She has also worked for and with many of the HUD M&M (Marketing and Management) contractors. Mitze has traveled around the United States setting up offices, hiring and training staff as well as evaluating office procedures and staff already in place. Mitze has always been a “hands on” manager by training inspectors in the field as well as the office staff. She made recommendations for changes for more efficient operations and put those changes into place. Mitze has been employed as the Property Manager and then Escrow Manager for a HUD M&M contractor. Working with these REO properties has given her the opportunity to lean the REO process from the property preservation and protection (P&P) phase to the final recording of the deed for a new owner.
Given the opportunity to learn another aspect within the real estate industry, Mitze accepted a position with a Southern California Builder as the Escrow Manager for their new home communities. She quickly adapted to the New Home Sales processes and established a detailed reporting system. This system allowed for better coordination of information to all involved in the process as well as to management. Mitze worked closely with the owner and was able to establish herself as a key employee within the system. This builder became the Builder of the Year in the Inland Empire. As an agent, she also successfully sold properties in a new home community during the slowdown of new home sales in the Southern California area.
Currently, Mitze oversees the day to day management of the RERS team. She also has direct overview of the Sales and Marketing group as well as showing, listing and selling properties herself. With RERS as the Listing Broker for PEMCO on HUD owned properties in Riverside County, Mitze hosts and presents the Sales Agent Training Seminars for Sales Agents to learn the HUD process to sale the HUD owned REO properties in California.
Mitze believes it is hard for anyone to make responsible decisions if they don't have all the necessary and correct information presented to them. This is exactly what the RERS team strives to do for all of their clients. She has created and maintained coordination and a work flow system for Sales Agents, Lenders, Buyers, Design Centers, Superintendents, and Title Companies for successful and timely closing of each property and in meeting the repair deadlines of our REO Brokers and Asset Managers.
